DYSCO IAP/IUAP network. The final study day of the DYSCO IAP/IUAP network took place on November 28 in Leuven. During this study day, Alexandre Mauroy gave a very interesting and well-attended talk on a linear operator-theoretic approach to nonlinear systems.
During the period 2012-2017, about thirty members of naXys, among which the six promoters (T. Carletti, A. Füzfa, R. Lambiotte, A. Lemaitre, A. Sartenaer, J. Winkin), their PhD students and a dozen researchers (mainly postdocs) funded by the network, contributed actively and significantly to the success of this network. They worked, in collaboration with members of other Belgian partners of the network, in the framework of several workpackages: large scale optimization, large scale dynamical systems simulation, information extraction from very large databases, networks, analysis and control of finite and infinite dimensional systems, modeling of biomedical systems.

In the ex-post evaluation it was noticed that the most recent additions to the network, in particular UNamur, have been particularly active in the joint publications and cross-network collaborations. It was also noticed that the naXys team made significant contributions to the workpackages in which it was involved.
